Interested in acting as a volunteer demonstration observer?
Freedom to assemble peacefully to express opinion is a human right. Amnesty is defending freedom of assembly around the world in the international Protect the Protest campaign.
In Finland Amnesty has begun to monitor demonstrations. Amnesty’s volunteers observe demonstrations and report on the exercise of freedom of assembly and other human rights.
The observers are volunteers and the monitoring activities are coordinated by the staff of Amnesty Finland. The observers can take part in one or more observations during the year.
