Are you between 18 and 24 years old and want to get more involved with Amnesty? This is your chance to meet other activists from the Nordic countries and share skills and experiences in beautiful Stockholm, Sweden, from 22 to 25 August!

The Nordic Youth’s Annual Meeting (NYAM) is hosted by the Nordic Youth Council.
We offer a fun, inspiring, safe and educational meeting space for youth activists from all over the Nordics. At the NYAM, you will learn different campaigning methods, take part in workshops and lectures, and plan your own activism. On top of this, you get to spend four days with other young activists from the Nordic Countries and create connections that can last a lifetime.
You will get to:
- Learn the history: Understand the background and events leading up to the current situations.
- Discuss and share: We provide a space to talk about your thoughts and concerns with fellow activist
- Learn from experts and guest speakers: Ask questions and learn from people with lived experience and experts in the field.
- Plan your activism: Create an activism stunt that can be carried out in all countries simultaneously after returning home.
Costs and details
Transport, food and lodging is covered by Amnesty, but you are required to pay a 50 € participation fee.
Who can apply?
Amnesty will send three activists from Finland, in addition to the Finnish representatives in the Nordic youth conceiting.
Here’s who should apply:
- Age: 18 to 24 years old
- Activist spirit: Active in an Amnesty group, or keen to get involved.
- Eager to learn: Interested in learning more about Gaza/Occupied Palestinian Territories and willing to take action.
